On display beginning January 27 at Gateway Gallery: TRANQUILITY AND TURBULENCE, featuring the artists of Gateway Studios and special guest artist Bruce White.
Tranquility and Turbulence focuses on ten large “serenity stones,” each painted with unique water-themed designs. Known functionally as river stone tables, the forms are occasional tables provided by the High Point-based Phillips Collection, long-time partner of The Enrichment Center.
Complementing the serenity stones are a series of digital photographs and acrylic paintings. The work in Tranquility and Turbulence was previously on display at the fall 2016 High Point Market. Check out coverage of the opening of Tranquility and Turbulence in the Winston-Salem Journal's Scene and Heard, and check out our photo album here.
This exhibit will be on display through March 17.
The Gateway Gallery is open Tuesday through Friday, 11am to 4pm, and by appointment. Proceeds from sales benefit The Enrichment Center's programs and pay a commission to the artists.
