The Disability Housing Forum Forsyth will offer a meet and greet prior to beginning presentations. Come check out various organization’s booths, listen to live music, have a snack, receive a COVID vaccine, and hear power family stories at our Human Library booth.
Opening & Welcome 5:30-5:40pm

Naming the Problem: 5:45-6:00pm
Listen to several powerful stories about the impact a lack of accessible, affordable, and available housing options has on people living with a disability, their family members, and friends.
Presentation of Solutions: 6:00-6:50pm
Hear about some creative ways in which stakeholders are working to solve the housing crisis, as well as, the funded services/programs that are essential to home and community-based living. We will spotlight to family success stories.
Moderated Q&A panel: 6:55-7:20pm
Listen to an expert panel of stakeholders as they discuss housing and disability services. They will answer both pre-planned and audience generated questions.
Call To Action: 7:20-7:25pm
Summarize the ways in which all stakeholders can get involved in solving the crisis of housing for people with disabilities.
Next Steps: 7:25-7:30pm
Announce future Disability and Housing Forum plans.
