Mimi Waldrep’s favorite thing about The Enrichment Center is being with her friends, and over the years she’s created many cherished friendships.
Mimi is a member of Associated Artists of Winston-Salem, and enjoys photography in the visual arts arena. Her favorite subjects to photograph are flowers and butterflies, so the spring season is full of opportunities. Mimi’s grateful for all the excellent teachers at The Enrichment Center who have helped her fine-tune her photography skills. Look for her artwork in Gateway Gallery at our upcoming exhibition – Furry Friends and More.
While staging a photograph is fun, Mimi loves being on stage herself. She’s performed in many of The Enrichment Center’s productions, most recently as a nurse in our holiday production of “Wake Up Mr. Scrooge!” And, in March she performed with The Enrichment Center’s Dance Ensemble at The Arc of North Carolina’s Rooted in Advocacy Self-Advocates Conference.
When she’s not performing or taking pictures, Mimi likes to swim and play basketball. But in all things, her friends and friendships matter most.
