2014-2015 Annual Report

During the 2014-2015 fiscal year, more than 300 individuals, 7 businesses and 4 foundations invested in The Enrichment Center. Volunteers gave more than 730 hours of their time. Bottom line: We're a small staff, but with your help and the help of many others, we're delivering on our mission: to empower and enrich adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County community. Thank you!

"Give people fish, and they will eat for a day. Teach people to fish, and they will eat for a lifetime."
  -- Chinese Proverb

The Enrichment Center "teaches people to fish" by empowering them through the arts, education and employment. When individuals with disabilities gain new skills and achieve goals they have set for themselves, their lives change. The changes ripple outward to those in their households and in our community. And while we are able to measure outcomes, what is more difficult to measure is increased self-confidence, self-worth, and independence. The individuals we serve, and their families, say that makes all the difference.

As a result of your support, we are able to serve more adults with disabilities than ever before!
