Gateway Gallery at The Enrichment Center encompasses nearly 1,300 square feet of beautifully lit exhibit and sales space, featuring a variety of one-of-a-kind art pieces created by our students. These Artists of Gateway Studios work in the tradition of self-taught and outsider artists, creating original paintings, digital photographs, ceramic and multi-media pieces. Individual styles range from traditional to abstract.

Community artists are invited to show their work in conjunction with original creations by our own artists, who receive commissions from their gallery sales. Exhibits change every two months, and an opening reception is held for each exhibition with music provided by The Enrichment Center Percussion Ensemble and refreshments prepared by our Culinary Arts students.

Please visit our Events page for details about upcoming opening receptions for the Gateway Gallery's exhibits.

Gateway Gallery is open Tuesday through Friday, 11am to 4pm, and by appointment. Proceeds from sales benefit The Enrichment Center's programs and pay a commission to our artists. For more information, please call 336.837.6826.

2017 Exhibits at Gateway Gallery

Opening January 27 and on display through March 17:

Featuring the Artists of Gateway Studios and special guest artist Bruce White.

Tranquility and Turbulence focuses on ten large “serenity stones,” each painted with unique water-themed designs. Known functionally as river stone tables, the forms are occasional tables provided by the High Point-based Phillips Collection, a long-time partner of The Enrichment Center.

Complementing the serenity stones are a series of original digital photographs and a series of original acrylic paintings. The work in Tranquility and Turbulence was previously on display at the Fall 2016 High Point International Furniture Market.

Opening March 24 and on display through May 12:

Featuring the Artists of Gateway Studios and special guest artist Marcia McDade McMann.

Enchanted will spotlight work from The Enrichment Center's ceramics studio, including fairy houses, garden gnomes and more magical art!

Support for the opening reception of Enchanted is made possible with funding by The Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County and Wells Fargo
