“I found I could say things with color and shapes that I could not say any other way...”     ~Georgia O’Keefe

The Enrichment Center presents an art exhibition at the spring High Point Market -- Art Speaks-Voices From The Enrichment Center -- to raise awareness about Autism and other Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. This exhibition features a life-size painted cow named IDDA, pyrography and photography. All artwork is original, created by artists of The Enrichment Center. Proceeds from art sales benefit The Enrichment Center's programs and pay a commission to the artists.

April is National Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month, designated to promote awareness, acceptance, inclusion and self-determination for all those living with Autism spectrum disorder. We celebrate people with Autism – family members, friends, classmates, co-workers and community members – making valuable contributions to our world. Nearly half of the individuals currently served in the Day Program at The Enrichment Center have a diagnosis of Autism spectrum disorder.

This exhibition is made possible by The Enrichment Center’s partnerships with the Phillips Collection and the International Market Centers.
